Editorial Review: Glycolic Acid is a superficial peeling agent that is made from sugar cane. It is often considered the most active and beneficial of the Alpha-Hydroxy-Acids (AHA). With repetitive and continuous use, improvement to skin tone and texture occurs. Once inside the skin's cell, glycolic acid will serve as a catalyst for the formation of new collagen which will reduce the appearance of wrinkles on the skin's surface. Glycolic acid has been proven to be very effective in the treatment of hyperpigmentation, melasma, actinic keratosis, acne, and oily skin, as well as other cosmetic uses. Our kit provides you the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of professional results at home, for a fraction of the cost. What You Can Expect Several layers of surface skin will be exfoliated very quickly... within 10-12 minutes. There is no noticeable peeling, just a sloughing action that will leave your skin feeling smooth and looking refreshed. The dry, dead, glued-together surface sebum that makes skin lo...

The exfoliation and sloughing is not substantial, 2008-07-02
I experienced a small degree of exfoliation and sloughing but not substantial enough to get rid of my acne scars. It serves as a good light peel only.

This is the peel to get, 2008-06-29
I believe this is the best peel for the skin. I notice a difference, a wake up to my skin, the very next day. I have the other two peels but this is, by far, the best of the peels. I use to go every three weeks to go get a peel, but it cost about 150 bucks plus I tipped her!!!! With gas prices, food and the cost of living I can not afford this luxury anymore so I found this amazing way to still get a peel. It's not as strong as going to a doctors office but it works. You don't peel at all-it simply wakes your skin up. This is the peel to get!!

WOW... WOW.. WOW, 2008-06-11
I always tend to stay away from chemical peels because of the horror stories I hear and because I have fair, oily, acne prone skin.
I purchased the 35% peel just to try it; to see if I'm missing anything. I'm sorry I didn't have the guts to try it sooner. :o)
It is absolutely fantastic. I had a couple of breakouts I could not, for the life of me, get rid of. I put this on with a cotton ball, and I did wait the full 4 minutes; it tingled, but did not burn in any way. I washed it off and thought "okay, no miracles here". My face did feel smoother but that's about it.
The next two days I noticed quite the improvement. My chin cleared up and my face was, again, smoother, and more even and most importantly, no breakouts. I did not need to even put on powder (which I did not live without).
You do have to use a moisturizer after the peel. I did the first time, but because my face is oily, I didn't use one the second time. BIG mistake! My face was red and it still tingled 20 minutes after I rinsed off the peel.
As soon as I put moisturizer on, my face felt better and the redness went away.
This peel works wonders for me. I will keep on using it. It's definitely worth the money.

AWESOME, 2008-05-31
WHAT A GREAT PRODUCT TO USE FOR THE INBETWEEN MONTHS OF MY MICRODERMABRATION TREATMENTS. THE ONLY THING TO WATCH FOR IS NO AT HOME TREATMENTS FOR AT LEAST 48 HOURS PRIOR TO A MICRODERMABRATION TREATMENT. I REALLY CAN SEE A DIFFERENCE IN THE SIZE OF MY PORES!! I WAS ALITTLE SCARED AT FIRST AND WASN'T SURE HOW TO APPLY (MY FINGERS VS. GLOVED HANDS VS. A BRUSH) SO I NOW APPLY THE PEEL WITH AN MAKE-UP APPLICATION BRUSH WHICH I CLEAN INBETWEEN AND IS ON RESERVE FOR MY GLYCOLIC PEEL SOLUTION ONLY. I PLAN ON BUYING ANOTHER BOTTLE IF THE RESULTS CONTINUE.

burn baby burn!, 2008-05-30
This stuff has been great. I got a mild burn the first time (yea, don't try the full 5 min the first time) It has helped with my breakouts and my I get lot's of compliments on my skin. Just take it really slow and start with a minute or two. Work up to longer. If you have sensitive skin, I would start with a lower percentage as well. Happy peeling!
